• Text volume: The number of words to be translated is a key criterion. The longer the text, the higher the total cost.

• Language combination: Some language pairs are more expensive than others. For example, translating from French into English will generally be cheaper than from Korean into Arabic.

• Area of specialization: Technical or specialised texts require specific skills, which may result in higher rates.

• Special requirements: Urgent deliveries, special formatting or sworn translations may incur additional charges.

• Pricing example: revision of a website (3,000 words) for €150.

Eco: good quality at lower cost

• Neural machine translation followed by human post-editing.

• Final check by a dedicated project manager.

• Ideal for projects on a limited budget requiring the right quality.

• Translation memory included on request.

Pro: superior quality for publishing

• Manual translation by a specialized native translator.

• In-depth quality control and linguistic tools included (glossary and translation memory).

• Ideal for content intended for publication or requiring greater accuracy.

Premium: certified excellence

• Manual translation followed by revision by a second native translator.

• ISO 17100 compliant, guaranteeing strict international standards.

• Ideal for critical projects (legal, medical, technical).

• Translation memory and glossary included for optimal management of complex projects.

Birdwell offers two practical options for managing translation costs:

Custom quotes: Each project is the subject of detailed analysis, taking into account the volume, languages involved, area of expertise and chosen level of service.

Pre-paid packages: A cost-effective solution enabling customers to benefit from a discount of up to 10%, depending on the total amount to be pre-paid (for example: pre-paid package of €10,000 = 10% discount). These packages also include real-time tracking via a dedicated platform.
