Country Navigator

Country Navigator

A navigator is normally the person on board of a ship or aircraft responsible for its navigation. The navigator’s primary responsibility is to be aware of ship or aircraft position at all times. Responsibilities include planning the journey, advising the ship’s captain or aircraft commander of estimated timing to destinations while en route, and ensuring hazards are avoided.

Country navigator is a tool which we use to help global leaders or international business travelers to understand the culture of their destination and to review the similarities and differences with their own and how to bridge potential gaps. The comparison between cultures highlights the differences across a scale of 9 dimensions. This feature can identify where potential conflict might arise or why someone might be a stronger candidate for a particular task. If you are embarking on a business deal with a new prospect, you can compare your cultural profile with a specific culture to understand how your working style differs and gain advice on how to bridge gaps for success.

Globalization has made the corporate world more connected, complex and competitive. The ability to function effectively across different cultures has never been more important. It’s not always easy to understand why someone acts the way they do.

Country navigator can help to gain some cultural intelligence before embarking your journey!

I was glad to have had this cultural training before starting my work with the Spanish team.
I was able to understand certain behaviour and habits that are diametrically opposed to the German way of work.
