Anthropology
Christian teaches communication and intercultural studies at international institutions such as EM Lyon Business School and École des Mines de Saint-Étienne. He holds a PhD in American history and a degree in anthropology, and received a Best Paper Award at a conference of the American Culture Association.
After conducting research at the CNRS (French National Centre for Scientific Research) and working for a U.S.-based NGO, he published a book on the history of New York with McGill-Queen’s University Press and co-edited an international collective volume published by MIT Press.
He is currently continuing his research and writing on the history, culture, and contemporary issues of English-speaking societies. His teaching draws on an interdisciplinary approach that combines academic research, cultural analysis, and experience in international environments.
